Bridal Beauty Prep

I have a friend, we'll call her Dora! 5 New Year Beauty Resolutions 2017!

So its that time of year again where we set unreal expectations that are out of the window quicker than the fitness DVD you ordered has even arrived!! Just me? Whoops! Joking apart I do think January is a good time to make some changes, with the busy period of Christmas over I like to work on things that make feel healthier and better about myself. There is nothing like a spray tan to give you an instant pick me up! I always feel so good after I've had one, it gives you that summer feeling, makes you feel slimmer and just generally feel more confident. One of my new years resolutions was to do more things that make me feel good (which of course covered the usual, exercise and eating well) but small things like having a relaxing bath, sitting to read a book and self tanning also came under that list. I personally have tried so many various things to help keep my make up on all day, some of them have worked well and some haven't. I don't believe anyone's make up can literally last all day and look perfect from application to removal and don't believe products that claim to last for 24 hours! However, I do feel that certain things definitely make a difference and help keep my make up on longer, I have a combination/oily skin type but all these tips will work well for a drier skin too, it will just be the actual product used that will differ depending on your skin type...

Its such a treat going to a salon or spa to have a facial, and if you find a good therapist its a great way to keep on top of you skin as it changes from season to season, getting advice on skincare and making sure any problems are being kept at bay. 

But if you can't get to have facials or even if you do, you should still be doing a facial routine at home to give the skin more of a treat than just the daily cleanse, tone moisturise... 

I exfoliate and use masks on my skin 1-2 times a week but every 3-4 weeks I will take the time out to do a full facial routine and I thought I would share with you the steps I take when I do this....
