New Skinsorial Products from Bare Minerals

Since the launch of the Bare Minerals Skinsorials skincare range this summer, I have found some of them becoming a firm favourite in my routine. Initially the skincare range consists of cleansers, moisturisers and the anti-ageing serum infusion and now they've started to expand the range with 4 new arrivals now and in the new year this will continue with more skin type specific serums and treatments... Here' a review of the 4 new products...

So the first of the new additions is the MIX.EXFOLIATE.SMOOTH, £18. This is basically a powder that you add to any cleanser to turn it into an exfoliator containing a cocktail of natural Chardonnay, Rose, Sweet Orange Peel and Black Rice grains plus mineral-rich Sea Salts. This is such an easy product to use and perfect for people who struggle to regularly exfoliate their skin as it requires no extra time or step in your routine. I've been using this 2-3 times a week on an evening and my favourite combination is with the Bare Minerals Total Cleansing Oil.

The next product is the Dirty Detox Skin Glowing and Refining Mud Mask, £32. This mask contains 4 mineral rich clays, purifying charcoal, and papaya enzyme to not only deep cleanse as most mud masks do, but also give the skin a glow, smoothing the skin and making it look fresh and radiant. I apply this mask for 10-15 mins and remove with warm water and it leaves the skin feeling clean but not tight or dry like some mud masks can, it feels nourished and smooth.

Bare Minerals have released a cleansing tool, the Skinsorials Double Cleansing Brush £16, this is a soft brush with synthetic fibres and a central reservoir that you apply the product to. So its a bit like a toothbrush, dampen the brush, apply your cleanser (oil cleansers don't work too well but all others work well) and work over the skin to deep cleanse and stimulate the skin before rinsing off. I will admit that even though I was intrigued to try this I wasn't sure on the effect this would have on my skin but after using it every day I have found that my skin felt clearer and more effectively cleansed so I will continue to use.

This next product is defiantly a bit of a princess product (which means very nice to have but a bit unnecessary) but I have really enjoyed it anyway. The Skinsorials Mask Essentials £14 is another tool containing a mask brush that works like a spatula to scoop up the product and then you brush it onto the skin. It Also contains a mask removal cloth that is waffle textured that helps to effectively remove your mask. So even though this is completely unnecessary it was nice not to get the mask (especially the new dirty detox mask which is a very dark green!) all over your hands and under your nails etc and the cloth did make it alot easier to remove than splashing it off which also normally results in getting the product everywhere! So a nice addition to have or would make a nice gift for a beauty junkie like myself!

All the products (apart from the Dirty Detox Mask which is expected very soon) are available in the salon and online now at www.wishlistbeauty.com

Feel free to comment if you have an queries regarding the new products
